Globe Theatre

The Alhambra Theatre Company launched the Globe Theatre late in 1908 after the success of its nickelodeon, the Electric Theatre in Ogden November 18, 1907. When the Alhambra Circuit decided to build the Alhambra Theatre in Ogden, it phased out the Globe Theatre on December 15, 1914. The theatre had some short-lived uses before being converted to an auto repair and sales location.

Note: The 2530 Washington Boulevard address was the theatre entrance. The entry way for the auto store housed in the same business was on 25th Street at the address of 432 25th Street.
