In 1972 Urban Renewal condemned the (1909) Majestic Art Theatre. So, persistent showmen moved their (1952) pre-fab façade, fiberglass blade sign, chairs, and projection equipment over to existing retail space over on W. Main Street.
The black and chrome lobby held a combination box office/concession stand. A new screen and continental seating were installed on a level floor, and the Majestic Adult Theatre began a life anew.
Come 1976 this theatre too was condemned by Urban Renewal and was demolished soon thereafter.
