Constructed in 1910, opened in 1911 with Max Minkley as Manager. Closed in 1949. The Orpheum Theatre was demolished on October 1, 1971, together with the much larger Garden Theatre was 2 doors down.

Four images of the Orpheum Theatre added. The marquee appears to have been added before the `40s. The Garden Theatre is visible on the left in three of them, and was a much larger structure whose marquee appears to have been there since the beginning. I will now add a CT page for the Garden Theatre. This was Ingham County in Lansing Michigan.
Demolished October 1, 1971, article added credit The State Journal, via Kurt Wannamaker. More photos can be seen on the Orpheum page gallery, since they were two doors apart. It should be noted that the right hand second story windows of the Garden/Mead’s Hall had been updated sometime before 1944 and remained that way until it’s demolition.
