Walt Disney Grand Theatre(located in Disneytown at Shanghai Disney Resort) opened on 16th June 2016(opening day of Shanghai Disney Resort) with a Mandarin-language production of the “The Lion King”. Walt Disney Grand Theatre hosted the World Premiere of “The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” on 11th May 2017. No other movie screenings known? “The Lion King” stage show is still showing, soon to be replaced with a Mandarin-language version stage production of “Beauty and the Beast”.
