Nearby Theaters
Located on Main Street and Broadway. The Star Theatre was opened prior to 1914. It was listed with 400 seats in 1929. By 1931 it was listed with 290 seats and by 1939 it was listed with 250 seats. It was destroyed by fire on December 2, 1940.
Around 1941 a New Star Theatre was opened (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures)

This one should be listed as demolished. The Star theatre was a wooden structure that was destroyed by fire on December 2, 1940.
