The auditorium in Richford’s new Town Hall began showing movies as the Colonial Theatre in April, 1915. Sometime between 1918 and 1925 the competing Park Theatre, a dedicated movie house, was opened, but the Colonial Theatre continued to be listed in Film Daily’s Yearbooks through 1934, though it was never wired for sound.
