Cine Ideal

Located in the El Poblenou area of the Sant Marti district in the northeast of the city centre. The Cine Ideal was opened on 7th April 1917. It was designed by architect Pujol Brull. This huge cinema was closed in 1984 and was converted into a television studio to the plans of cinema architect Gilberto Lopez Atalaya.

In 2019 it was in use as an art gallery, featuring immersive digital projections of the paintings by the artist Monet.
