Cinemes Texas

Located in the Vila de Gracia district in the north of the city centre. The 600-seat Cinema Texas was opened on 11th September 1947 with Cantinflas in “Los Tres Mosqueteros” (The Three Muskateers) & Robert Stack and Broderick Crawford in “Los Malchores de Carsin” (Men of Destiny). On 27th July 1996 it was taken over by the Lauren Cinemas chain and renamed Cines Lauren Garcia.

It has since been divided into four screens and renamed Cinemes Texas with seating for 186, 112, 159 & 83 and is screening independent & foreign films. It is a member of the Europa Cinemas Group of art house cinemas.
