The single screen L'Ermitage-Pathe was opened on 21st November 1930 with Lew Ayers in “All Quiet on the Western Front”. It was designed by chief architect of Pathe Cinemas, Eugene Bruyneel, with 1,200 seats. On 18th June 1933 it was renamed Ermitage-Club des Ursulines screening “Cavalcade” starring Diana Wynyard. In 1935 it returned to its original name.
Toward the end of the 1960’s it was taken over by UGC and was rename UGC Ermitage. It was closed in 1967 and architect Georges M. Peynet drew plans to converted it into three screens, with seating for 550, 280 and 120. It reopened on 30th November 1972. It was closed on 16th October 1990.
It was converted into a large perfumery store in 2018, operated by Guerlain. By 2024 it was a Zara clothing store.
