Located in the Eixample district of the city centre. The Cine Montecarlo was opened on 31st March 1945 with Tyrone Power in “Son of Fury:The Story of Benjamin Blake”. It had 998 seats in orchestra and amphitheatre levels. It was remodeled in 1976, reopening on 22nd June 1976 with a reduced seating capacity of 844. It was closed on 12th June 2000 with Russell Crowe in “Gladiator”. It has been demolished apart from the facade.
