Here is an item about this house from the June 7, 1930 issue of The Billboard: “BURLINGTON, Ia. The old Jewel Theater has been completely renovated, including a new curtain, sound machinery, new seats and carpets, and has been reopened under the name of the Iowa Theater. An electric sign also has been installed. K. C. Thompson is managing the house for the Cohn interests.”
