Astra Cinema

Located in Stanmore to the east of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The RAF Training Camp was built in 1939 and contained the Astra Cinema. The Royal Air Force Training Camp was closed on 8th February 1963.

The Astra Cinema was demolished together with the training camp and the site has been converted into Stanmore Country Park and Stanmore Industrial Estate.
