Declaimer’s movie theatre appears to have its roots as a silent house from World War I and was named Liberty Theatre. The theatre name was changed to the Bijou Theatre when converting to sound. It still had listings in 1956. It likely went out of business that year after what appears to be a 40 years. In 1968, a no trespassing sign prevented people from going into the out of business theater.
