The Coyote 7 Drive-In was opened in June 1954 by H.C. Gunter. He also operated the Buckhorn Drive-In in Alice, TX. The Coyote Drive-In was located to the west of town on Highway 44 W. at the corner of FM 2507 on the way to San Diego, TX.

It was closed in 1975.

I don’t believe this drive in was ever called Coyote 7? At present time, a machine works business is on the old drive in property.

The old concession building remained until 2010, when it was torn down for the new business on the property.
