The 300-seat K & M Theatre launched in Eunice in 1945. In 1955, the theatre likely renewed its lease and did a complete refurbishing job raising the seat number to 462 and renaming as the Delta Theatre. The African American venue was closed by Liberty Theatre Circuit on October 2, 1961. The Delta Theatre was demolished years later.
