Located on Franconia Road, three miles west of Duke Street Extended, in the Franconia district of Alexandria, VA, at Ward’s Service Station. The Sylvia Theatre was opened on February 18, 1948 with Ray Milland in “California”. The cinema/home/garage did not last long and had probably closed by the end of 1948.
