Southside Cinema Denham Street and Alma Street, Rockhampton, QLD

Tony Cathro writes - In 1939, a new Earl’s Court Theatre was built, designed by architect Hockings & Palmer and George Newton Kenworthy in the art Deco style. The new cinema had a 2,500 seat auditorium. And opened 19th July 1939. Later to become the Southside Cinema.
