According to the NRHP listing for downtown, the building was constructed in the 1920’s as a grocery store. At some point, it was remodeled into a theatre owned by several local stockholders. Unclear when it closed. Based on the location, this was likely a segregated theatre for African-American patrons. It later became a church but is currently in ruins. The building is a simple one story flat-fronted brick storefront, with a bit of decorative brickwork along the roofline. Roof is completely gone, as is most of the interior.

I don’t know why Apple maps can’t find this address, but Google does, and provides this street view from April, 2023. The front of the building was still standing at that time, but it didn’t look like it would be around much longer.
