Long’s Theater opened in the mid to late-1940’s. It operated till the early-1950’s. Sometime after it closed, it was converted to a shooting gallery and operated as such for a number of years. It has now been closed for some time and is deteriorating rapidly. The Capitan Theater down the street is currently undergoing restoration so maybe there is hope yet.

I looked inside while it still was an indoor gun range 3 years ago. The logo on the lobby floor was still there. Everything else was gone. I was told the projection booth was used for an office.
