The Eden Drive-In either opened in late-1951 or early-1952. The original owner was Buster McKee. Mr. McKee sold the drive-in a few months after opening in March 1952 to J. T. Jackson. The drive in closed in the early-1970’s and the screen came down in the mid-1970’s. The concession building was still standing in the summer of 2012, but in bad shape. Was soon torn down the following year.

A closer address is 1075 US-87, Eden, TX 76837. This is the Slumber Inn, the drive-in was next door and the remains of the ramps, concession building and drive way can be seen on google earth. There’s a 2018 street view that shows what’s left of the concession building.
The street number can now be changed to 1151 - It looks like the site now has a number on Google maps.
The concession stand/projection booth still stands, albeit just the walls with no roof.
You can still see some of the ramps and the screen foundation. Based on aerial photos when it was operating, this was a small drive-in that may have held 100 vehicles.
