Located on Business 287 (W. Front Avenue). The Home Drive-In was operated by the Home Theatres with Martha McSpadden as the operator. She also operated the Liberty Theatre and Grand Theatre in the town. The Home Drive-In opened on April 13, 1950 and closed in the mid-1970’s. The property is very grown up with mesquite and has operating pump jacks and oil tanks on it also. The theater had nine ramps. The concession building was barely standing in 2015.

The closest address I could get on Google Maps is W Front Ave and County Line Rd S, Electra, TX.
The drive-in sat about a quarter-mile east of the intersection on the north side of W Front Ave. There is basically nothing left except the concession stand which is in terrible shape.

The Home Drive-In Theatre launched on April 13, 1950. According to the paper, it was closed following a ten-year lease not opening in 1961. However, it could have been reopened thereafter.
