It operated from 1907 to 1925 by Bungoro Tani and Tadayoshi Isoyama, screened silent films to Issei workingmen. (Kaya Press) This theatre was in Little Tokyo. It became the San Kwo Low Chop Suey restaurant which was a favorite of Charlie Chaplin and many of the Hollywood stars.
Right half of the building today is Japanese Kitchen.
