Fern Theatre

Noted on the 1909 Sanborn as an ‘electric theatre’, this was located in a two story brick building, and shared the ground floor with a garage. There was a skating rink on the second floor, which must have made a huge racket. The building is still there, but appears to have gotten a replacement façade at some point, perhaps the 1930’s. The portion of the building that held the theatre is now apartments.
