The El Centro Drive-In launched between Crosbyton and Ralls on May 8, 1952. The opening feature was “Aaron Slick from Punkin Crick” with Dinah Shore and Alan Young. It was operated by Wallace B. Blankenship of Wallace Theatres. The theatre closed at the end of the 1956 season and did not re-open in 1957. In 1958, vandals struck the defunct theatre taking items.

A more accurate address is 1522 TX-114, Crosbyton, TX. Nothing remains of this one, a 1965 aerial shows the drive-in with the ramps derelict with the concession building in the middle of the field.
