The 1916 Sanborn shows a theatre in the back of a three part block of stores in a one-story brick building. The stores faced onto Main Street, but the theatre entrance apparently was off of 3rd Avenue. The space was fairly large, and was also used as a public hall. Oddly, there were windows at the backs of the three business spaces into the hall. There was a small entrance lobby off of 3rd Avenue, toward the rear of a 2-story building which also had its front on Main Street. The buildings collapsed or were demolished many years ago. The town, which once had close to 400 people, has dwindled to about 60, and the only remnant of a modest two-block downtown is the roofless ruins of a garage.
