Located in the Sant Andreu de Palomar district in the west of the city. The 1,800-seat Teatro Odeon was opened in 1921. It was initially a live theatre which also presented opera. It converterd into cinema use in 1935, when it was renamed Cine Odeon. Over the years it occasionally presented live shows.
In 1952 it was remodeled to the plans of architect Juan Maria Pujadas Porta and had 1,036 seats in the orchestra and 568 in the balcony. It was closed on 27th December 1978 and was demolished in June 1981. A hypermarket was built on the site. This too has been demolished and the vacant site in June 2018 had a notice proclaiming that Odeon Residential apartments were to be built on the site.
