The Waterall Theatres Circuit launched the Bolinger Theatre on May 9, 1935. The first show was Lowell Sherman in “False Faces” and Big Boy Williams in “Cowboy Holiday”. Just a year later, the theatre was remodeled.
The Bolinger Theatre appears to have gone out of business in 1953. Charles Waterall, Sr. reopened the theatre October 2, 1958. The theatre appears to have closed with the film, “Pork Chop Hill” starring Gregory Peck, on August 31, 1959.
