The 1913 Sanborn shows a theatre operating in the southern half of a 2-story brick building with an angled corner facing the square. The number at this point was likely 104. The building was built between 1889 and 1894, and the 1906 map shows the theatre’s portion as a print shop. It’s unclear whether the theatre occupied both floors, but given the central stair and an address of 102 presumably for the upstairs, this seems unlikely. The 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory lists a Lyric Theatre in Liberty. The site is currently occupied by the First National Bank building (2 S. Main Street), which dates from 1923.
