The Palace Theatre was located opposite to the Hippodrome Cinema on Revell Street (now known as Broadleys) in Clay Cross, to the south of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The Palace Theatre was opened by 1914 and presented pictures and variety throughout if life. It was still open in 1934, but had closed by 1935. It became a billiards hall, operated by Edgar Slater and was later used by Kennings as a car showroom.
