“The CCA Cinematheque opened in 1983, and has since become one of America’s most beloved art house cinemas. It annually serves more than 40,000 filmgoers, and produces some of Santa Fe’s most ambitious public and educational programming.
The Cinematheque celebrates the movies in their many forms, using films and videos to deepen our appreciation of the art of cinema, to provide a thought-provoking gathering place for Santa Fe audiences and broaden our understanding about the crucial issues of the day."
In the summer of 2018 the Cinematheque took over operations of The Screen, also located in Santa Fe. In July 2021 it was renamed CCA Cinema. It was closed in April 2023. It reopened May 11, 2023.

I visited the CCA Cinematheque on July 12, 2019 during a trip to New Mexico.
There are 2 screens with a total of 163 seats.
The larger auditorium has 111 seats.
The smaller auditorium with 52 seats is nicknamed The Studio.
