“Arnold Nordstrom, owner of the Nordstrom Motor Co., has opened a new 300-car drive-in”, wrote the Oct. 1, 1949 issue of BoxOffice. It had a ‘soft’ opened on August 11, 1949 with Allan Curtis in “The Daltons Ride Again”. The grand opening was on August 14, 1949 with Jean Parker in “Rolling Home”.
The 1950 & 1951 Film Daily Year Books included “Drive-In” under Tekamah. The 1952 Theatre Catalog listed the Tekamah Drive-In, owner Arnold Nordstrom, as Under Construction.
The Tekamah Drive-In was not listed in the 1955-56 Theatre Catalog.
Nothing remains of the drive-in today.

Opened on 11th of August 1949 with “Dalton’s Ride Again” and shorts “Jolly Jingles” and “Gullible Canary”. The Grand Opening was on the 14th with “Rolling Home” and “Screwdriver” which I think was a Woody Woodpecker cartoon.
