The Mutoscope Theatre was a silent movie theatre in the Midtown neighborhood of St. Louis and appears to have opened in 1910. It was rebranded as the Lincoln Theatre showing Paramount Films on September 14, 1918 with Dorothy Dalton in the “Kaiser’s Shadow” and Fatty Arbuckle in “Butcher Boy.” The theatre became an African American movie house. It was refitted for other retail purposes decades later. In 2018 it is the Olive Bar.
