This actually first opened as “Movies at Lawrenceville” on December 17, 1976. It was originally a Septum Cinemas theater, but was later renamed “Douglasville Cinema 3”, and was later taken over by Plitt Theatres, Cineplex Odeon, and finally Carmike.
