Opened by 1940, this popular cinema showed foreign and domestic films of quality, both first runs and second run, for many decades. It was still open in 1983. It was closed for a good number of years ago and never re-opened.

On July 31, 1983 at this cinema I saw Wim Wenders' “The State of Things,” dubbed in Italian.
On May 18, 1940 the newspaper Il Messaggero listed this cinema as showing two films: “Adorazione” (The Woman I Love) with Paul Muni, and “Donna in gabbia” (Hitting a New High), both from 1937, both American.
