It was re-named Schauburg am Hauptbahnhof due to its close location to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Hamburg Railway Station). It was damaged by allied bombs in 1943 and was demolished.
A new cinema named Die Barke was built on the site in 1952, which had its entrance on Monkebergstrasse. (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures)
