The 1910 Sanborn map shows ‘Moving Pictures’ operating in the northern half of a 2-story commercial building. There is an area for scenery at the rear, so this may have been a tiny vaudeville house as well. The 1900 map shows it as a grocery store, and by 1918 it had become a butchers.
According to the 1983 NRHP inventory, the building dated from about 1870, and was then vacant. It has since been demolished (gone by the 2008 streetview), and the site is a garden.
