Located in the city centre. Edison’s Kinetoskope Salon was opened on 16th May 1895. It was operated by Deutsch-Oesterreichissche Edison Kinetoskope Cie. GmbH with a share capital of 400.000 Mark. The Salon contained 5 Kinetoskope machines. The programme changed in two-week cycles. Adults payed 50 pfennige per view, children payed a reduced amount of 30 pfennige. The Salon was closed in April 1896.
