Alster Lichtspiele

Located in the Hamburg-Nord district to the north of the city. The Alster Lichtspiele was opened in 1911. It was modernized in 1934. In 1953 the Alter Lichtspiele was expanded to 672-seats In 1956 CinemaScope was added and a Klangfilm sound system was installed. The Alster Lichtspiele was closed in 1966 and has since been demolished.
