The 1917 Sanborn shows a ‘Moving Picture Theatre’ operating on the 2nd floor of a very small tin-clad wooden grocery store. The theater is still operating on the 1922 map. Given the size of the building, it was likely an informal operation. Capacity, even seated on benches, must have been small.

The address is approximate. The building has been demolished, and the lot occupied by some prefab sheds. For some reason, both Sanborn maps render the street name ‘Clark’.
