Located in the Altona District of Altona Altstadt to the northwest of the city. The Belle Filmtheater replaced the Belle Alliance Theater along the same street which had been dstroyed by Allied bombs in 1943 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Belle Filmtheater was opened in 1956 and was operated by Wilhelmine Godermann & Ewald Hammann. The projectors were by Phillips FP 6.
The Belle Filmtheater was closed in 1962. It has been demolished and housing has been built on the site.
