The Opera House in downtown Bartelsville featured live acts. Under Bryant and Bradley, the opera house became the Bryant and Bradley Opera House in 1905 but ended live acts in 1907. The Electric Theatre had launched in 1905 with motion pictures and the town liked what it saw. The Bryant and Bradley Opera House became the New Theatre by March 21, 1907, playing motion pictures exclusively beginning on June 11, 1907. It was operated by Schreck & Talmage. The New Theatre appears to have closed when the Oklah Theatre opened on September 25, 1907.
