Cinema

Located in the trendy Porto Genova district in the south of the city centre. The Cinema (original name not know at this time) was one of the original silent cinemas operating in the city. It was operating into the 1920’s.

In January 2003 it was taken over by the Antonioli clothing store which sells Avant Garde style fashions. Although over the years many alterations have been made to the interior, one survivor of the cinema days is the top section of the original proscenium frame painted on the wall. The screen would have also have been painted on the wall.
