Located in the Altona district of Bahrenfeld at the corner of Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg & Friedensalle. In 1950, the Kurbel Bahrenfeld/Pinguin Theater was opened (the correct name is unclear, it is possible that both names were used) and it was operated by Moeller & Peter Degler. The architect was Friedrich Kasparides. In 1952 it was re-named Neues Elite Theater and was operated by Hugo Timmermann & Veltkamp. The E IX projectors were by Ernemann and a sound sytem by Klangfilm/Eurodyn/Siemans was installed. The seats were by Schroeder & Henzelmann. In 1956 it was re-named Elite Theater. It was equipped with CinemaScope in 1957.
The Elite Theater was closed in 1962 and after a while it was converted into the Elite Ballroom.
