Located in the Wandsbek district of Tonndorf to the northeast of the city. The Filmtruhe Wandsbek was opened in 1952 and was operated by Ullrich & Strauss. The cinema contained a stage in front of the screen. In 1956 CinemaScope was added and the cinema was re-named Lichtspielhaus Filmtruhe. The E X projectors were by Ernemann Zeiss Ikon and a Ikovox Dominar L sound system was installed.
The Lichtspielhaus Filmtruhe was closed in 1958. Later demolished a Shell service station now stands on the site.
