Located in the Altona district of Bahrenfeld in the west of the city. The Der Spiegel Filmtheater (Mirror Theater) was opened in 1950. It was operated by Hugo Timmermann & Schneider. It was designed by architects Tinneberg & von Berg & Kurt Tripke. It was later operated by Gerd Foelster. The projectors were by Phillips. In 1956 it was equipped with CinemaScope and the stage was enlarged from 6.5 x 2 metres to 7x 3.5 memtres. The seats were by Stuessel & Co.
In April 1983 the cinema was closed and later converted into a bank.
