The Dell Theatre was opened by 1955. It as still in operation as a movie theatre until closing in the late-1960’s and abandoned. In the late-1990’s/early-2000’s it was converted into a branch of the Matewan Bank. It later became a branch of the BB&T Bank.
It has been given a new facade. By 2019 it is used as a venue for special events.

Address is 436 Helena Ave. Original building is still standing with a newer facade. Operates today as The Event Center, whose Facebook page is below. It includes some interior photos of it currently. Multiple other images added to Photos.
