Cinéma Henri Jeanson

From a machine translation of the cinema on the City of Honfleur’s website, “Formerly located on the site of the current media library under the name of ‘Petit Casino,’ this cinema was rebuilt at 27 Cours des Fossés in the early-1990’s and renamed after ‘Henri Jeanson,’ a famous screenwriter”.

The single-screen 199-seat cinema was recently renovated, and is capable of both 35mm and digital projection, including 3D.

The cinema is owned and managed by the City of Honfleur. It offers 14 weekly screening and 21 screenings during school holidays (except summer). The cinema offers “3 weekly films that are as close as possible to the release schedule and the expectations of the audience”, and is “part of various animation or film culture awareness programs such as ‘Lycée au cinéma’, ‘Collège au cinéma’, and ‘École au cinéma’.
