Opened in the mid-1990’s, this two-screen theater is located in a small strip mall in the north area of the city and screens big budget Hollywood fare, usually dubbed in Portuguese.

It opened as Strip Center (the name of the mall), then was renamed to Arcoíris Strip Center when administration of the theater was passed to the Arcoíris Cinemas company in 2003. When Arcoíris was renamed to Arcoplex, the theater was modernized, digitalized and re-opened as Arcoplex Boulevard Strip Center, in 2014.
