Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Las Colinas

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema circuit launched its Las Colinas branch as its fourth location in Dallas-Fort Worth. The theatre has a soft launch on April 17, 2018 prior to its grand opening on May 1, 2018. The theatre opened in the digital age with 4K projectors and 7.1 sound but was additionally equipped with 35mm projection for special screenings.

The theatre is located on the second level of its location tucked between the Toyota Music Factory entertainment and restaurant hub in Las Colinas. Across from the ticket booth is the cinema’s bar, the Vetted Well. The bar area features a direct view of the neighboring Toyota Music Factory’s performance stage.

Alamo Drafthouse-Las Colinas' adjacency to the John W. Carpenter Freeway (aka Texas State Highway 114) led to the John Carpenter (the director) themed lobby and hallway including mini-posters and the lobby’s changeable standee which features reworked Carpenter film titles.
