Stuttgart’s Starvue Drive-In was opened in October 1952 by Col. Alger Lancaster and M. A. Lightman. That’s according to the drive-in’s profile in the July 3, 1954 issue of Boxoffice, featured because the owners installed a screened-in patio for patrons to use “during the insect months, May through part of September”.
The 1955-56 Theatre Catalog listed the Starvue Drive-In with a capacity of 400 cars. It was included in the Motion Picture Almanacs' annual lists through the 1961 edition but fell off in 1962.
